A little update

Sorry it has been so long since I updated, but things seem to be getting ready to pick up now. On 6/25 we listed my grandpa's house for sale. It was bitter sweet, as we would all have much rather had him still here with us.

Yesterday Nick and i went to his parents for the 4th of July festivities. They do a block party type thing with their neighbors. On the way there we check our mail, and found my denial from social security. Their reasons for the denial were bull crap, so I am appealing the decision. Then I received a call from my brother saying there are 2 offers on the house!

Well, today we signed the papers accepting one of the offers!! Amazing!! Now we just wait for the sale to go through escrow. Looks like our goal of starting the adoption process in September very well could be a reality.
