Updates

Yesterday we signed the papers on the final sale of my Grandpa's house, and we should get my inheritance early next week. It's bittersweet as we need the money, but I would gladly give it all up to have my Grandpa and my Dad back.

As far as the adoption is concerned, the money will really help as we can be more open with situations. Now we can entertain the idea if there is a situation out of state, as we can afford the dual-agency fees, and travel. That's a plus in itself.

We have our 1st adoption workshop tomorrow night from 7-9:30. It's a 4 week class on Thursdays and is to help us prepare for the adoption and the process.

I am finishing up our profile and then we need to meet with our coordinator to find out what we need to do, pay her, and get our profile going out to birthmoms. My hope is to at least have an appointment with her by my 31st birthday on February 3.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers for a quick and smooth rest of this journey. Right now the only thing our nursery has gained is junk and dust. I need to get everything washed and cleaned, and to get us that baby!!!
